Hoopers

What is Hoopers?

Hoopers is an agility style sport that is low impact on your dog joints but high on the fun scale. Your dog will navigate a course of obstacles, mainly hoops but also including barrels and tunnels. Testing your teamwork with your dog, the idea is to build on distance handling. This sport is suitable for most dogs.

Hoopers courses are flowing with no sudden stops or sharp turns.

Training can start from 6 months of age.

You can compete with our dog from 15 months of age.

Diane and Linda are the hooper class instructors; both are experienced and have attended several courses. Both Diane and Linda have success competing with their own dogs at hooper competitions on a regular basis.

If you would like to take part in the hoopers class. Contact Linda, mob 07837802499

Ringcraft

Ringcraft classes were started at the club around five years ago by the present trainer Janine. Annett is also a trainer and classes run on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

We have different classes for new, and more experienced handlers.

Janine herself has two Polish Lowland dogs, both of which she qualified to go to Crufts, and both were placed in the classes

Ringcraft class will teach you how to show your pedigree dog, and this includes what clothes to wear, how to move with your dog, and how they should stand.

So it you feel like having a go, contact us for space availability, and come and join the group
