Junior Class

Classes for children and young people aged from 6 years upwards are held weekly on Wednesday evenings. The aim of these classes is to teach the young handlers how to train their dogs through motivation and rewards.
In addition to the basic obedience elements, the classes incorporate games and mini competitions with use of indoor fun agility equipment.
The young handlers are also able to take Good Citizen Assessments which are carried out approximately three times a year. Young people from this class have qualified to take part at the prestigious dog show, Crufts and some have progressed through to compete in all age open obedience shows. This class gives a good all round training which helps prepare young people who may want to move into other dog sports such as agility, flyball and working trials.
The aim of this class is to train through fun for both handler and dog.
